Story Box Hub
Story Box Hub features Australian stories read by Australian storytellers. More than 200 picture books read aloud with animated illustrations. Children participating in 1000 Books Before School can count stories listened to on Storybox Hub towards their book tally!
Untapped
Most Australian books, including local histories, children’s titles, and literary award winners, are out-of-print and inaccessible. Untapped collaborates with authors, libraries, and researchers to rediscover Australia’s lost literature.

Newsbank
Featuring more than 7,500 newspapers from across Australia and the world. Includes The Age, The Sunday Age, Bendigo Advertiser, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Herald Sun, The Financial Review, The Australian, The Weekend Australian and more.

Beamafilm
Stream thousands of free movies, documentaries and series to your device, computer or smart TV with Beamafilm. With unlimited simultaneous access, watch as many films as you want, whenever you want.

Enjoy all the best films for kids and students. Beamakids + is brought to you by Beamafilm, a streaming service with an award-winning collection of movies, documentaries and series. Learning & Languages

Arrivals in English
Arrivals in English provides essential, everyday English to newcomers adjusting to life in their local community. Aimed at Beginner-level learners, the program is organised around practical activities such as meeting people, registering with a doctor and opening a bank account. It includes a dedicated learning skills section, systematic vocabulary development, and interactive practice so they can try out the English they’ve learned.

Busy Things
The award-winning BusyThings combines fun and laughter with a huge range of high-quality curriculum-linked content, now available for ages 3-11 years.

Languagenut
Learn a language in a nutshell. Over a dozen different languages to choose from including English too.

LOTE4Kids
LOTE4Kids offers thousands of picture books in over 50 languages. Every book is animated with English or LOTE (languages other than English) subtitles and narrated, allowing your kids to enjoy books and learn language through the magic of storytelling.

Sunshine Online
Funways makes early learning in reading and maths fun and interactive for all pre-schoolers. Learning Space 1 2 3 provides animated and interactive learning in literacy and maths for primary school aged children.

Ancestry
Ancestry Library Edition gives you access to billions of records to discover your family’s story.
Access is only available in the library but Ancestry allows you to email your files to your email address.

Britannica Library
Britannica Library is divided into three sections – Children, Teens and Adults. Access encyclopedia articles, Britannica-approved websites, journals and magazines, multimedia, compare countries, atlas, thousands of biographies and other learning materials. Save and share articles, images and videos in a personal account with My Britannica.

Find My Past
Search over 50 million records on Find My Past for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands, including cemetery records, electoral roll records, government records, religious records, military records and more.
Access is only available in the library.

Historic Rates Index
The Bendigo Historic Rates Index currently covers the period 1856–1903 and allows you to search the Bendigo rate books by owner, rate payer, year, address, occupation, rate number and council name/subdivision.

Public Records Office of Victoria
Public Record Office Victoria holds a vast array of records created by Victorian Government departments and authorities including the State’s courts, local councils, schools, public hospitals and other public offices.

Trove
Trove is created and maintained by the National Library of Australia, and brings together content from Australian libraries, museums, archives and other research organisations and gives you tools to explore and build.
