We are recruiting two Regional Managers to lead multi-site library operations and support high-quality, community-focused services across our network.

About the role

As a Regional Manager, you will oversee several library branches across our region, supporting branch managers and staff and ensuring consistent, community-centred service delivery. You will work closely with our member councils, community partners and branch teams to strengthen programs, enhance patron experience and maintain operational excellence.

Hybrid work arrangements are available, with a mix of on-site regional presence and work from home flexibility.

What you will do

  • Lead and support teams across multiple library locations
  • Oversee operations, staffing, service standards and compliance
  • Build strong relationships with our member councils and community organisations
  • Manage budgets, resources and regional projects
  • Contribute to planning, reporting and continuous improvement.

About you

You are an experienced leader with strong communication skills and a commitment to community outcomes. You are confident managing multi-site services and supporting staff in a dynamic environment. Experience in libraries, community services or local government is highly regarded.

We are looking for a creative, strategic and people-focused Communications Coordinator to lead our communications team and help shape the way our library service connects with the community.

About the role

In this role, you will manage a small team of communications staff and oversee all aspects of our internal and external communications. You will work closely with branch managers and program teams to promote our services, events and initiatives, ensuring our messaging is consistent, accessible and centred on our community.

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor and support communications staff
  • Develop and deliver communication strategies that strengthen community engagement
  • Oversee content creation for social media, websites, newsletters and print materials
  • Manage brand consistency and accessibility across all channels

  • Provide strategic communication advice to the Leadership Team
  • Support events, campaigns and community partnerships

About you

You will bring:

  • Experience in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising staff
  • Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills
