We are on Facebook! Like us to keep up to date with what’s happening at all Goldfields Library Agencies:

Library Staff visits

Library staff visit each library agency weekly. Our librarians are friendly and helpful and are happy to assist in any way they can. Our librarians can help with borrowing using the self-loan kiosk, reserving and renewing items and using the catalogue. They can also help with learning about the library website, using library resources, as well as the eLibrary and digital resources.

Librarians visit each agency on regular days and times - see the table above.

Storytime sessions

For current storytimes please see the agency storytime PDF and playgroup storytime PDF.

For additional storytimes please see

What will you find in a Library Agency?

The library agencies have books and collection for borrowers to browse, as well as a self-loan area to borrow, reserve and return items. The agencies are attended by local staff and volunteers during opening hours, and there are library staff from Goldfields Library Corporation on hand once a week.

Library users can browse the collection in the agency or search the library catalogue and reserve any of the 300,000 items across the entire Goldfields Libraries collection.

  • Reserves are delivered to agencies weekly for patrons to pick up
  • Drop off returns, pick up reserves, browse and borrow from the collection
  • Sit and read, browse magazines or catch up with friends
  • Library programs such as storytimes for kids and digital literacy programs for adults are run on a regular basis
