Castlemaine Library building works
Castlemaine Library is undergoing minor building works to construct a new public workspace and meeting room. The new space is being built in partnership with Mount Alexander Shire Council and will include a kitchenette, data points and presentation equipment. The room will be available for library users and community groups to meet or work in an area separate to the busy library environment.
While we are making every effort to minimise noise and disruption, there will be periods when noise is unavoidable and when sections of the library will be unavailable. We expect construction to continue until early April.
We apologise for the inconvenience but look forward to inviting you into our new meeting room very soon!
