Active Mind Kits
Enjoy a range of themed kits to support those experiencing memory change or cognitive decline. Each kit contains books, puzzles, games and objects to stimulate memories and conversations.
- You must be over 18 years of age.
- You will need to have an induction to the collection by a staff member (a 5-minute process) and sign a Safe Usage Agreement before you can borrow.
- You will be responsible for the safe use and safe transport of items.
- Any children using loaned items will be properly supervised to avoid injury or damage.
- Lost or damaged items may incur a charge for repair or replacement.
- Staff will check items upon return to ensure they are in clean and in working order with all parts included.
- You will need to borrow from and return to the desk with library staff – returns chutes are not to be used for these items.
- You can reserve and collect, and return to, any branch or agency during staffed hours.
- Items can be loaned for a period of two weeks, and can be auto-renewed once for one week if there are no pending reservations.
