Joining Goldfields Libraries is free, easy, and gives you access to a huge range of items to browse and borrow, both in-branch and online.

Everyone is welcome to become a library member. While you don’t need a library card to enjoy our spaces, programs and events, and many of our services, becoming a member opens up even more ways to enjoy your local library.

Our libraries are open to everyone. You’re always welcome to visit, relax, read, learn and take part – no membership needed. Enjoy:

Everyone is welcome to join Goldfields Libraries.

Children under 16 will need a parent or guardian to authorise their membership.

If you’re unable to visit the library in person, you may be eligible for our Home Library Service.

Membership benefits begin once your library card has been issued.

  1. Drop into any branch or agency, and our team will help you get started.

Please note: You won’t be able to access membership benefits until you have a library card. If registering through a library agency, your card will be posted to you.

  • Photo ID (or utility bill) with your current address

If you have no fixed address, you can sign up using a mobile phone number or email address.
