Stage School Australia to tour Goldfields Libraries

Monday 16 September 2019

Goldfields Libraries are excited to welcome talented young performers from Stage School Australia on a tour of their library region. The tour provides a wonderful opportunity for regional children to experience high quality live theatre free of charge, and Stage School Australia students the experience of a regional tour.

Performances include ‘Seussical’ a wonderful one-hour adaption of the original Broadway musical based on the works of Dr Seuss, and ‘Chicken Licken’ a fantastic 45 minute pantomime for young children following Chicken Licken’s journey to tell the King that ‘the sky is falling’.

“We are delighted to include these two performances as part of our September School Holiday Program. As well as giving country children the chance to enjoy live theatre, it gives these talented young performers a taste of touring. We really hope our community will embrace this opportunity,” said Goldfields Libraries Co-ordinator of Programs and Events Tammy Higgs.
