Jeremy Scott’s Remarkable 52,000km World Cycling Adventure

Friday 28 October 2016

In the space of just two and a half years, Jeremy Scott has accomplished more than most of us could hope to achieve in a lifetime. He has cycled almost 52,000km through 29 countries, starting in London where he was based at the time and finishing in New Zealand. Perhaps the most remarkable part is that Jeremy was born with a hole in his heart, and underwent open heart surgery at the tender age of four.

“We are very lucky to have Jeremy share his incredible journey with audiences at Bendigo, Castlemaine and Gisborne Libraries in November,” said Tammy Higgs, Goldfields Library Corporation Programs and Events Coordinator.

“As part of his presentations, Jeremy will showcase an inspiring collection of images taken on his adventure of a lifetime.”

Fascinating tales and photographs from Jeremy’s adventure can also be enjoyed in his book, ‘The Long Road from a Broken Heart’, which will be available for sale at the library presentations. It can also be purchased from his website: www.jeremyscott.com.au

Jeremy is dedicated to helping fundraise for organisations like the National Heart Foundation of Australia, the Heart Foundation New Zealand and the British Heart Foundation.

Each of Jeremy’s library presentations are free, and bookings are required via www.ncgrl.vic.gov.au
