Celebrate Children’s Week with The Mudcakes

Thursday 19 October 2017

Children’s Week will be loads of fun this year at Goldfields Libraries with dynamic musical duo The Mudcakes performing for kids aged 2-6! Come along for a free and interactive concert with original songs, quirky instruments and seriously cool kindie rock!

Duo Sherry Rich and Rick Plant have been entertaining together as The Mudcakes since 2007 and have released three albums. Their debut album ‘Songs for Little Monkeys’ was voted in the top 10 children's albums by The New York Post. They enjoy producing "adult friendly kids music" so everyone has a good time!

National Children's Week is from Saturday 21 - Sunday 29 October, and has been celebrated annually in Australia since the mid-1980s.
