COVID-19 Updates

Good news! Restrictions have eased further.

Thanks to the latest announcement from Premier Dan Andrews, we're excited to announce that there are no longer any density or cap limits in our libraries.

In line with Victorian Government requirements, anyone aged 18 years and older will need to show us proof of vaccination before entering our libraries. You can do this via the Services Victoria app, or with a physical Vaccination Certificate.

We're so excited to take this next step and we want to thank you for your support, patience and compliance during this tough time. We’re all in this together.

What are the new restrictions?  holding phone with COVID-19 certificate

  • You must sign in and sanitise on entry
  • Anyone aged 18 years and older will need to show evidence of full vaccination prior to entering library spaces
  • Masks must be worn when in the library
  • Social distancing is still in place
  • Safety remains our top priority, so please don’t visit if you’re unwell

Please note: Medical certificates are no longer permitted as proof of COVID-19 vaccination exemption. Any exemptions must now be reflected in the Australian Immunisation Register, which will generate a a COVID-19 digital certificate that can be linked to the Services Victoria app. Paper copies can be provided by your doctor. Further information is available here.
