Library Services in Rural Communities - Call For Expressions of Interest

Wednesday 13 July 2016

The Goldfields Library Corporation (GLC) is calling for Expressions of Interest from community organisations or groups to partner with GLC to host a Library Agency.

GLC is seeking to partner with organisations to establish Library Agencies in the townships of Wedderburn, Boort, Inglewood, Tarnagulla, Dingee, Axedale and Elmore.  The GLC is looking for interest from organisations or groups based in these locations.

The Pyramid Hill Neighbourhood House currently houses the Corporation’s only Library Agency, and provides an additional 24 hours of service per week to the region.  It will continue to operate, with the seven new library agencies expected to have a similar set up.

The Pyramid Hill Library Agency has moved to new premises along with the Neighbourhood House, and the freshly renovated space showcases the updated library and shelves.
