Children’s Services

Goldfields Libraries hosts a wide range of free children's activities throughout the year. Pre-school storytime sessions operate during school term. Programs for primary school age children operate during school holidays. We also have resources for parents, teachers and other child educators.

Storytime

Each storytime includes read-aloud stories, songs, finger plays, action rhymes and a craft activity to suit children aged 3-5 years. At storytime, parents, caregivers and children are encouraged to enjoy the story, songs and crafts together.

Toddler Time

Each toddler time includes simple stories, finger plays, songs and rhymes for babies to 2 years. At toddler time you and your child will have fun and learn together from your positive role modelling of interest and participation.
